	TI-1500 Series The TI-1500 Series are available in either an ABS NEMA 12 or a Stainless Steel NEMA 4X enclosure. These are general purpose NTEP and Canadian approved at 10,000 divisions digital indicators. The TI-1500 and TI-1520 are equipped with a bright 1” LED display for easy viewing. Both units are capable of displaying up to 50,000 display divisions and supply enough current to drive 8-350 ohm load cells. This Series comes standard with a full duplex RS-232 serial port, time/date and a programmable print format. NO LONGER AVAILABLE

	The TI-500 PLUS and TI-500E PLUS are NTEP approved digital indicators housed in a durable aluminum enclosure. It is equipped with an easy to read 0.9” LCD w/ backlight or LED display. Capable of powering up to 4-350 ohm load cells, this simple device can handle a multitude of functions. A full duplex RS-232 port can transmit data on demand or continuously to match the input requirements of a wide variety of peripheral devices including printers, remote displays and computers. The setup and calibration parameters are shared with other TI series indicators for consistently easy and trouble free use and maintenance. Best of all, the TI-500 PLUS can be operated on AA Alkaline batteries or rechargeable batteries. The TI-500 PLUS is an an upgrade to the reliable performance and value found in theTI-500.

One of the more popular Transcell Technology questions we always get is "what is the main difference between all the different Transcell indicators like the TI-500E, TI500BW, TI500E-SS & TI-600ESS" ?

The TI-500E has an enclosure made of plastic. The five front panel keys are LB/KG, TARE, Net/Gross, ZERO & PRINT. The TI-500ESS has the same features, of the TI-500E but it has a Stainless Steel enclosure. The TI-500BW has the same features as the TI-500E except it can operate on AC and battery power. The TI-600ESS also has a stainless steel enclosure like the TI-500ESS, but in addition to having the same 5 front panel keys as the previous indicators mentioned, the TI-600ESS also has a full keypad, 0-9 keys which is useful for added features such as entering tare weights manually.

Another popular general questions is "Why would I need a scale indicator w/ a full keypad" ? If you have a product in a container and you only want to know the weight of the product, with the basic indicators (such as the TI-500E) you would need to place the empty container on the scale then press the "TARE" key to deduct the weight of the container. The scale will then display the weight of the product you place in the container. However, with the TI-600ESS with full keypad, if you know the container weighs 50 lbs, simply enter the value 50 using the 0-9 keypad then press the "Tare" button to deduct the weight.
